Story

Mythology, folktales, fairy tales, stories are at the core of my practice. Through working closely with place I develop a single or multiple stories connected in some way to that place. The stories are developed through walking the land, telling the story over and over again to human and more-than-human companions (yes, that does mean I often tell stories to trees and other animate beings). I often come to a place with a story I imagine working with there. It is not always the right story, but the story a place wants to tell will soon emerge.
